During Eastertide (the time between Easter and Pentecost), we will follow the church's tradition of confessing our faith instead of our sins in our worship services. We will be doing this with words taken from the Belhar Confession. Written in South Africa in the context of apartheid, the Belhar highlights God's call to unity, reconciliation, and justice. The Belhar challenges the church to live out Jesus' prayer that the church be one, even as we are different in many ways.

Sunday school classes for all ages meet from 9:15-10:15am.

Middle and high schoolers meet in the youth wing.

There are classes and nursery for the younger kids too!

Like many congregations, CotS is wrestling with questions about God's will for human sexuality. These are challenging conversations, but we have committed to the work of discernment together as a church, leaning into our vision of being a safe and authentic community where all can be known and loved. "Mosaic" is what we call our monthly Sunday evening gatherings where we share a meal together. Besides enjoying each other's company, we may play a game, sing, pray, or hear someone's story. It's a casual event for the whole family.

The dinner starts at 5:30pm and we wrap up by 7:30pm.
